6160 exporting config

Morning all,
Been a while since I've used a 6160, and the company I work for wants to export the config from their 6160 and import it to another 6160 at another site, and make some small changes to the recordings etc.

Is the only way to get the config from a 6160 to copy the config by stopping the sql services, running a backup, and copying that backup?

I think this will copy the 6160 programming and not the messages. You will need to move the messages across manually.

you can run a 6160 backup (built in app)
this creates an xml file. this is only the config.

recordings need to be moved manually.
