6140 wireless handset

Hi Guys,

I'm having difficulty registering our 6140 wireless handsets to the CS1000E. I have confirmed that the IP address configured on the handset is correct. Also I have checked the AP's and they all working as I can get an IP when using wireless on my laptop.

The handset is displaying no PBX response. However when the unit is turned on I can ping it from my laptop.

I have checked and apparently there is a pacth to fix this issue but I would just like to make sure if I havent maybe missed a step when setting it up.

If you are using the config cradle, try restoring system defaults on the phone, then run through the cradle again
