6120 wireless sets not ringing

I've got several 6120 sets programmed as agents in Syposium. When I set the profile to loud or to the default profile, the phone will not ring. When it's set to the soft profile it will ring and when it's set to the vibrate only profile it will vibrate. Has anyone seen these phones act this way before? They have the latest and greatest firmware on them. Could this be a firmware issue or is something just not set right in the phone?

Did you use Handset administration tool to program sets ? if so, check loud profile tab and make sure that ring cadence is set to any thing but off.
Next step is to reprogram all sets in the Handset admin tool.
 
I've never even heard of the handset admin tool. I just programmed them in the CLI of the switch on a TTY port. Is the Handset Admin tool the approved way of programming these sets?

Boy oh boy you are a Vendor and you never heard of this tool?
This is Nortel approved software that can program handset in about 3 seconds.
If you had to program 100 phones manually with 128 bit security key code and Static Ip you would be doing this all day if not more and with this tool less then 1 hour.
 
Another tech got these sets ready for me as far as downloading the firmware and the SSID. Last month was the first time I'd ever dealt with wireless sets other than Companion back in the day so no I hadnt heard of it. I'll check with him and see if he used the Admin tool. I can download it and check the settings myself. Thanks, guys for the info. I'll let you know what I find.
