6110 faxing

I just purchased and installed an Officejet 6110. It works fine, but it apparently does not allow me to send and receive faxes from my computer, like my old OJ 610 did. Does anyone know of any software (preferably cheap or freeware) that would allow me to do this?

I have the same problem so I would be most anxious to see if anyone has a answer to this HP 6100 problem.

I pretty well solved the problem. If you have an analog modem in your PC, connect the modem to the 6110 - there's an extra RJ-11 jack in the back of it just for that.

Once the modem is connected and fax software (I'm using fax services but into XP) is configured, you can send, receive, and manage faxes from your PC. It's working out great so far. If you want more advanced fax services, I'm sure Winfax Pro would do everything you want.
