We upgraded from 4.x about 6 months ago.. One item that changed that I wasn't aware of till now, is that the CDR database is limited to 6GB. Before our upgrade, I was able to search for calls as far back as a year and a half. Now, it appears I'm limited to only about 80-90 days without topping out the CDR database.
I talked to Cisco TAC and they say this is just the way this now..nothing they can do to help, but they were quick to recommend a third-party software that costs a pretty penny.
My question to others is, do you use anykind of application or external storage to keep your cdr records around to allow for a more distance query? If so, what do you use and what's great/bad about it?
