6 Slot Pci back plane upgrade in a 7028-6C4

Hi, does anyone happen to know how to get a #6556 6 Slot PCI backplane working correctly in a 7028-6c4, i've just tried to upgrade it from a 4 slot but the machine still only sees 4 slots. Any help would be appreciated.

try resetting the nvram, remove the battery (after removing all mains leads) for about 15 to 20 minutes.
or try updating the firmware.

Thanks for that, i upleveled the firmware before i did the swap and also tried removing the battery. I figured it out in the end tho, it was at the very end of the manual in tiny writing. Thanks again
