I have an IP Office 500 with 4 analogue line and 2 isdn line i would like to make the default lines the ISDN and the fallback to be the analogue. we has analogue handsets so call appernce keys wont work or will be a crazy process.

Any ideas

You need to use LCR or ARS if using v4, you can set up fallback routes in there.

Any Examples

do i create multiple ARS Routes or place sort codes in the main ARS route

ISDN Line 0
Analogue Line 1

How would this work ?

Place all your PRI's in one outgoing line group (eg. 0 since you want them used as preference).

Put the analogs in a different outgoing line group (eg. 1).

That should be enough for the existing default short codes/ARS to use the PRI's.

Now create a new ARS (for example 51) very similar to the default (ARS 50) but in which the short codes use line group 1.

Back in the default ARS (50) decide under what conditions you want it to overflow to the new ARS 51, eg. wait time, user priority, time profile, etc.
