Looking for a part number for a 2-prong plug modular adapter. Customer has a few of these, wants to buy more for their emergency dispatch center. There's no part number on it.

It's a pair of male tip/ring/sleeve plugs to a female RJ25 (6P6C) jack adapter.

It's used for handsets or headsets with a PTT button.

I can find the 4-conductor variety adapters pretty much anywhere, but the 6-conductor ones are harder to come by.

I think they used to get these from GN Netcom, but I can't find this part anywhere on their website.

Thanks.

I looked through Allen Tel's catalog - a few products come close, like the plug itself - but no adapter, but so far no cigars.

Sure... could I order the plug and make an adapter... but this is a 24/7 emergency dispatch center, can't jerry rig their gear.

Here's what I'm looking for...

Plantronics.com search on 18709. This should have a variety of plugs, one may fit what you are looking for.

trvlr1 - thanks but that's a 4-wire part... need a 6-wire.

You might need to call them to explain what you need, they have all kinds of different parts including push to talk headsets if you decide to go in a slightly different direction.
