I've upgraded two of our 22 sites to 6.1 MICS, voicemail to 4.1 NAMs.
All systems have PRI's. What I am running into is when I bring the system back up, I can dial out ok but when I try to dial back into one of the DID's I get a dial tone, not the extension. I've checked trunk programming, bearing in mind that target lines now start at 157 instead of 145. The only way I can get them working right is to re-initialize and start typing.
Any ideas?

Are these standalone sites? Not networked together.

These 2 sites were PRI before the upgrade?

Thank you for the quick response. I've talked to a few people and suspect my procedure may be the problem, I've been changing out the flash card and it's cartridge at the same time, leaving all modules plugged in.
I will find out tomorrow night on the next one. By the way, all sites are not networked, and are at 4.0 or 5.0.

i believe you would have needed to do a backup then replace the cartridge then do a restore then do the upgrade vie the pcmia card...but any good vendor would have told ya that..where was you vendor anyway????Maybe its just your the IT guy and its only a phone system......

Any chance the upgrade was from a pre-2.0 database? I had to reprogram a couple systems from scratch. Believe it or not, that was an offical Nortel proceedure. The issues I had were unavailable 3rd T1 channels and "redirected by override" on the last 64 target lines???!!!. I don't know if that helps, but you may be looking at a startup and reprogram. Backup and restore, restores the bug.
