5pcs running win2k Pro to Join a different domain

I have 5 workstations all running win2kpro which was removed from domain ab.net and I transported them to another organizatin to join their domain onuapa.com.
I realised that when I clik the network identification tab of the system properties,the NetworkID and the Properties buttom are greyed out
I would like to know how to join these workstations to the new domain onuapa.com.Do I have to reinstall the os?

well it's because you never removed them from the original domain, they are still running the group policy of the original.

If you reinstall the OS, it will correct the issue. However, you can also correct it by changing the corresponding registry entries to fix this.

Would you mind sharing which corresponding registry entries you referred to? This happened recently at our organization, and a reimage was done, resolving the issue. But, if registry changes are faster (duh!), that would be preferrable in the future, I should think...
