I have an HP laserJet 5p printer that gives me a 50 service error and won't pick up any paper. It doesn't even attempt to pull paper. Is this an overtemp fuse problem or some thing else? Any help appreciated. Josh

A 50 service error could be caused by several things, but most probably the fuser or the DC controller is defect.

Already replaced the fuser assembly, but the problem still exists Josh

If the fuser has been replaced it has to be an error with the DC-controller as mentioned above.

the 5p doesnt have an output display ie "50 service" are you sure its a 5p?
