Heres a good one, We currently have an IPO 406 v3.2(17) with IP Dect and 56xx IP handsets. The problem being that the IP devices (DECT & DESK) intermittently loose IP conectivity from the system, the only way to re-establish the connection is to reeboot the main unit (a little difficult to say the least, there is no consistency in which handsets are affected. The s/w was initialy on 3.2(56) and had the same issues although the handsets took longer to register. any ideas?????????

The Client is using dynamic addressing, we have thought about either "VLanning" and/or using Static addressing all related Voice equimpment, but are currently running Ethereal & Monitor traces on site to try to diagnose the fault. Any help would be gggggrreat : )

I have seen the issue some times before on the 5600/4600 series phones, try to set the 802.1p/Q to off default auto. Another posible problem could be the switch and ofcause the IP Office itselves, but before you do anything make sure you run latest software on the sets, regarding IP dect i have seen the issue serivial times since version 3.2 (11). But it may be another problem the handset fall off and the BLF fields doesn't work properly, even some sets will not reconnect after reboot of the IP Office or the base stations, only way to get it up running is to remove the sets, reboot the system, and insert the sets again.
