I have a customer with an IP500 v2 R6. They have one person who works from home using a 5621SW phone and the built-in VPN.
The company's IT decided to replace the Watchguard routers with Sonicwalls. The Group name by default contains a space (WAN xxx). When trying to enter the new group name on the phone, there is no way to add a space. Where the docs show the button for a space, the @ symbol appears on the phone instead. We tried 0, 1, *, everything we could think of and couldn't find a way to enter a space.
My network engineer looked at it in depth and thinks there must be something in the phone's firmware that is missing it or doesn't allow for it.
Have any of you run into this before? I am wondering if the phone's firmware can be upgraded, or would a different phone work on the R6 instead? Or will a system upgrade to 9.1 be required?
