5550 Operator Absent

Is there any way to check if operators(5550's) are absent or present remotely ? Eg console1 needs to check if console's 3,4,5 are absent or present.

not sure if sn absent operator would show as DND when you do locate feature like an ACD agent.

Thanks for your response bobcheese. The only problem is that a person that manages operators and doesnt have access to the PABX,cannot get to the maintenance command line. They need to monitor presence through a 5550IP console.
