Hi all,

This has been touched on in previous threads but I am just looking for a bit of further info if possible, 3300 MCD 6.0 using 5550 4.2.2.13, I have installed the software onto a Windows 7 PC using an admin account and all went well, however when the next switchboard operator (of which there are quite a few) comes along and logs in I have to run the config wizard again and input the mac address/3300 IP address etc and then it fires up ok. I can see in the appdata folder where the config files appear to be missing from as and when each new user logs in and Mitel have confirm this is due to how Windows 7 handles user logins but wondered if anyone had figured out a way round it ?

Many thanks in advance

The Install is supposed to be done via an administrator account.

When done via an Administrator account, the intall settings are automatically applied to all users

Correct, I did this last night to a couple machines. Fresh install of Windows 7 and fresh install of 5550 software. Install as an Admin. I set up a general login as the console number(s). Anyone can login with proper credentials and it will work. REMEMBER, if it is a fresh install of Windows 7, activate it along with office/word. If you so choose also remember to add the 5550 software startup for all users.

Good luck
