Hi,

I know you have to manually make console resilient however I've never done this before.

how does it differ from making a normal extension resilient?

do i have to manually create the console dn on the secondary controller and add it to the remote directory number assignments....

the docs that I read explains the behaviour of the consoles being resilient but not a step by step how to configure.

no need to spoon feed this set up but if someone can push me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

My understanding of it is to program them in IP Concole Config form on each system, then create the rem dir entries accordingly.

If you read the Resiliency Guidelines Doc it's under Chapter 8 "Implementing Resiliency" and there's a step by step guide in that

am really embarrased! thanks Mitelmatt cause I was looking through this doc but missed that.

thanks

tested it tonight and worked like a charm.
thanks again
