5550 Console BLF - remote directory number interaction

Have two sites clustered and 5550 IP console at both ends. Sites arw connected via 2mb mpls cloud.

The client wants console Ops to be able to see extensions on BLF screen at respective remote sites and demonstrate dymanic indication as featured by local DNs (EG go of hook / busy / Ringing / DND etc).

My reading thru on-line help etc, which indicates this is possible. I setup areas such as. Feature DNs in networking element forms, IP trunking set to private in COS and telephone directoried updates fine thru SDS (Confirmed by viewing in either site systems).

I have set up BLF form on each console which picks up remote DNs fine, the problem seems to be that the remote DNs don't respond duymanically.

Any ideas.....

How are you creating you busy lamps?

My typical method is to program a phone as resilient, add a dual PKM and program the lamps. This creates the lamps on both systems.

BLF on 5550 is depending on BLF programming on extensions.
You create a Remote BLF instance on a real or dummy phone. That DSS/BLF is now available for the 5550 aswel.

Hmmmm....Will give your ideas a shot, make resilent and add extensions on DSS keys on a dummy PKM.
