Hello all. I recently tried to upgrade a new switch from 5.1.5 to release 6.0. The update seemed to go smoothly, I then rebooted the switch, but it is now not going passed "Test 212 Internal Loopback". The test is not failing, it's just hanging there.

I checked on Google and followed the advice of doing a break before the post, choosing I and erasing the config but the problem is the same. This was a brand new device and the only thing it has was a single IP address for getting the software into it.

Is there anything that can be done to revive this switch?

Nortel's switches come with a lifetime next business day replacement warranty if it was purchased in July 2009 or later. I would call Nortel and request a replacement. Did you upgrade the diagnostics image first, then the agent image?
