5500 ip console

having trouble with setting up new switch to dish out dhcp so my ipconsole phone will work any idea's, it is on 3300 mxe, i think my troubles are in dhcp, but not sure, if any one could help that would be great.

DO NOT let your console keypad or PC wynamically assign itself an IP Address, Mitel even state that both devices should be statically assigned.

However you will need to configure your DHCP server be it the 3300 or a windows server you will need to reserve an IP Address for you 5550IP at the very least.
