550 Invalid Recipient weird error. Please advise.

Hello. I have two servers. One is a redhat mail server that is also my network gateway. The other one is an application server.

Yesterday, my application server (win2000) had the mail server as it's gateway. That was causing me issues because the mail server was also an smtp proxy and was delaying emails sent by the application server when users where using their local smtp. To change that, I set my router as the gateway. That works for one client, but for the other client, even using mail own SMTP, I get a 550 error : Invalid recipient. But the email exists.

Anyone could tell me why QMail now rejects it ?

Uh, happy to try and help, but can you state which of that configuration is not working?! I couldn't follow your situation clearly.
