5420 firmware wont update on tftp server on ip office

While installing 5420's on a v2 r6 ip500 we can only update the firmware when tech's laptop is set a tftp server... when we unplug it and the ip500 becomes the tftp server it will not update the firmware and the phones dont work...

Any ideas?

Did you change the source ip address ?
Did you change it from manager to embedded ?
