5340 Screensaver

Is the 5340 Screensaver (free HTML demo app) still a Global app that is forced out to all 5330/5340 instruments?

Last time we tried it (when it was first released) it was either all or nothing, meaning you couldn't toggle it on or off at the instrument (the toggle did nothing). I would really like to deploy it, but last time I had users who did not want it complaining that they couldn't shut it off.

Anyone know if that's been fixed?

The last time I tried it it was still global. That was with release 9.0 about 3 months ago. I took it off because the date got off by 1 day and there didn't seem to be a way to fix that.

The date was fixable, but the fix was to delete the executable and recreate it. Not very elegant, but it did fix it. The screensaver is a nice addition, esp since it was free, but not if it has to be displayed global. It originally had a *lot* of warts on it mostly conflicts with the VM MWI display. Looks like that got fixed but they didn't fix the toggle on/off for the screensave function (display image toggle). Not everybody wants it.
