5330 Message Button Extension Change - External Mailvoice

PBX 3300 with external mailvoice system.

At the moment message button on 5330 IPPhone is configured to dial an extension and I need to change that button to
dial another extension.

When I try to configure the MSG button on the phone without success.

How can I configure Message Button to dial a given extension in order to acces the external mailvoice.

Any help is apreciated!

A true "message waiting" key will dial the extension that lit it so there wouldn't be anything you need to do (or can do, I don't think).
But if it's just a key that dial and extension but never lights up, just program it as a CDE speed dial key.

As dryaquaman says you can't program the message waiting key to do anything other then call the ext that left the callback message ( turned on the message waiting light ). You could change the function of the key to call the extension programmed into the sytem as the external voicemail pliot on a 5330.
