5330 Applications Loading stuck on screen

I have One 5330 phone that i cannot get to work when connected to our pabx.
( locally to the same HP switch that the MCD is connected to and other phones are working from)
When it boots up it all works fine but gets stuck on the applications Loading screen

I have tried using a USER extension that works with a different 5330 phone fine.
It seems that the MAC address of this handset is somehow flagged in our system.

I have tried factory resets , erasing the main load of the phone and nothing works.

If I set it as a teleworker extension off of a different Pabx it works fine and the screen displays ok.

Wehn i remove the TW settings and it re-registers locally it gets stuck again .

No labels are displayed , the phone can answer calls , the buttons seem to work ok .

Does anyone know if there is a technique to overcome this problem

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
 
You clear the MAC address from the extension you want to register?

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
 
yes its not the extension number , its related to the MAC of the phone

It was originally a device only phone

I cleared its mac and created a new full user extension for it.
When I register that phone as the fulluser extension ( or the device only ) it wont start properly and gets stuck at applications loading.

I havent yet tried a system restart , I might do that next

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
