When you install the backplate for the wireless accessories, there is a little white jumper.. do you know what thats called? or if you can find them anywhere like radio shack? I need one pretty quick

FYI, I called mitel and this is part of the $230 access control module (or the backplate with the antena). Thats about as awesome as mitel's warranty and return policy.

Well I guess when your back is against the wall is when you do some of your finest work. I found an old dead pc. I took a little jumper out of there and used it to jump the same pins as the white connector and everything is gravy now. I still dont know the name for the connector type so if anyone can answer that, i'll post a star

I'm not sure I completely understand your description but...

A small jumper that joins 2 adjacent pins is called a flea clip.

A jumper that joins non-adjacent pins with a wire is called - wait for it - a jumper.

A jumper that joins multiple non-adjacent pins is typically called a ribbon cable.

But what does it do ?
I forgot one lately and it did not make a difference at that moment
I did put it in later so it was not a long term test :)

This is purely speculation, but I would suspect that is for disabling the standard headset port on the phone.

What makes you think that you have time to fix it?

I was mainly looking for the name of the connector because I spent all day yesterday looking on the internet for 4 ping jumpers and things of that nature.

When I did an install a couple months back, I forgot to put that jumper in one of the phones. The customer complained of garbled audio. Therefore, if you ever have any garbled audio complaints.......check the back

Thanks for the help
