When you install the backplate for the wireless accessories, there is a little white jumper.. do you know what thats called? or if you can find them anywhere like radio shack? I need one pretty quick
FYI, I called mitel and this is part of the $230 access control module (or the backplate with the antena). Thats about as awesome as mitel's warranty and return policy.
Well I guess when your back is against the wall is when you do some of your finest work. I found an old dead pc. I took a little jumper out of there and used it to jump the same pins as the white connector and everything is gravy now. I still dont know the name for the connector type so if anyone can answer that, i'll post a star
But what does it do ?
I forgot one lately and it did not make a difference at that moment
I did put it in later so it was not a long term test

I was mainly looking for the name of the connector because I spent all day yesterday looking on the internet for 4 ping jumpers and things of that nature.
When I did an install a couple months back, I forgot to put that jumper in one of the phones. The customer complained of garbled audio. Therefore, if you ever have any garbled audio complaints.......check the back
