5330/5340 Display Question 1

I have a customer that has asked that when a call comes in, is there anyway you can split the display over two lines,

0123456789
Fred Bloggs

Because at the minute what he gets is,

0123456789 Fred Blo, with the last piece cut of off the alphatagged information.

This has been corrected in 8.0, which is in beta now. I think GA is in the next three weeks? In 8.0 you will get Name and Number ANI on two separate lines of the 5330/5340.

GA Date was set yesterday (yes we work on Sundays) for August 1st, 2007

Revised Mitel 5330 IP Phone and Mitel 5340 IP Phone Displays
The Mitel 5330 IP Phone and Mitel 5340 IP Phone gain full use of the second line of the display to present call control information associated with features such as conference, transfer, swap, and call forward. In addition, the calling or called party name and number is split between the top and bottom lines of the display with the top line showing the complete number and the second line showing the complete (first and last) name.

In addition, on the 5300 series display phones, both the original incoming caller ID and the forwarded from information will be displayed on the destination set.
