Its been a while since I last set one up, I'm hooking it up to a 5220 IP set which is configured as a standard set. I can't remember a couple of things:

1. Does it need a separate PSU? I've read conflicting details from Mitel - the ICP Tech Handbook says yes but the product guide for it says optional..
2. Does anything need configuring on the controller for the extension that the 5310 is hooked up to?

Thanks in advance!

Phil

I recently connected one to a 5340. It used POE from 5340. Just used Superkey to enabled/disable. Worked like a champ.

Thanks, checked on the back of a 5330 we have here and the power socket for the add-on is blanked out.. Also there's nothing in the superkey menu on the 5220 for the conference unit either..

thought it had to be minimum 5224 set? Dont think 5320s are compaitble with them?

•Plugs into 5324, 5330, 5340, and 5360 IP Phones for full conferencing and telephony functionality
