The 5304 is set to replace the 5302. The 5302 has been too frustrating for VARs and endusers. It is not the fact that it is SIP only, yet the fact that the requirements of SIP on this particular set do not align well with what customers are looking for. I believe official MD for it is set for June.

Yes i believe it is Minet and it has a display and is replacing the 5302

The 5304 is MiNet and has a 2 line display like the 5312/5324. It is a nice phone but a little too expensive for an entry level set.

The 5302 uses an off the shelf SIP chipset (Infineon Inca) so i can't see how it could ever support MiNet.

Good to hear it looks like the end of the road for the set, we had a whole load of trouble with them.

To me , 5302 and 5304 cannot dot the same job !!!
It should not be complicated for Mitel to devellope 5302 into Minet.

I believe too many people wanted a display on the entry level set, so rather then reworking the 5302 they introduced the 5304 with its dual mode and display.

For my part i use those phones on crew boats room, and the light of the screen is too strong...so 5302 could be perfect...
