524 Partial Record error

"524 Partial record found at end of datafile"

We are getting this with sqlldr - SQL*LOADER.

A Google search found solutions offered dealing with adding blank lines to end of data fiile and even control file. Neither fixed it.

Running 8.1.5 on NT4 SP6a with latest hotfixes.

Running out of options and time! Anything offered is appreciated.

Allen,

Can you edit the file that you are trying to load? I would possibly pull it up in notepad and see if the format you are expecting is the same as what you have. I would then take a look at the end of the file and see if you have some garbage at the end of it.

Have been editing it in Notepad and it looks fine. There were a few rows that had all commas (no data values) but I removed them. Same results. There is nothing visibly wrong with the data file.
