Any one have experience with the new 5235 handset,

My problem is when you check the call history, nothing appears in received, missed, ect...

This is connected to a Mitel CX Controller with 6.0.5.7 software, I have programmed the lic option to enable the tapi stuff and also in the class of service. Also made sure options are set within the system options that are advised within the help file.....???

Can any one help....!!!!
 
I have not activated call history on a 3300 yet, but I know that on the 200 ICP, each individual set needs to activate the feature. Activating is done through the superkey, each set has the ability to choose whether to log missed calls, all calls, internal call and or external calls. I like to program a button for call history, this button will light up when there is any call history.

try rebooting the phone after enabling this.
I can't remember but I don't think you have to program anything in the ESM for this to work. Unless off course you are using something other than a 5235 and 5240.
 
Saw this problem in 6.0

If the 5235 "replaced" an existing set, i.e., say you decided to upgrade a 5220 to a 5235 simply by changing the set type, thereafter call history may not work.

For me the fix was to KILL the user entirely, totally, yes, completely; delete everything.
Then program up a 5235 from scratch, assign the number, CLOS, put the user name on it, etc.
Now as a completely brand new -from scratch- user the call history suddenly works.

 
Do you have both HCI options enabled for the sets COS? The set actually uses HCI to store this information, and does NOT utilize the Call History function at all. It is working on my 5235 with no issues (3300 = MX 6.1).
 
Thanks Mitelpassion, after resetting the handset the call history seems to work.

Should have tried this first...??
 
no prob. had excately the same issue with my first 5235 and configuring call history.
