Hello all, I am trying to put an old sx200icp back in service, it has been well over a decade since I was in class down in Orange county.
I started with a blank database, programmed up form 4 "systems options" programmed up a couple phones in desktop services(9) I am using the local networks address scheme but are not attached to the local network yet, want to get this going first.
I have managed to poke around in form 47 IP and DHCP settings to the point that I do get reservations and and they are on the correct network but the phones just set there displaying the IP address on the top line and boot XXXX (can't remember the actual string it is the boot rev.) on the second line. I have returned home and have recovered enough to sit down and write this out. (Thank you Mr Daniels)
I am sure it is something very simple but the tech manual I have has only one page or so on IP phones and it is pretty much "plug it in" must have been allot of over the counter but not in the book training that I have forgotten, or a manual I have also forgotten about.
UPDATE, I figured it out, needed to point TFTP server to ICP address and then go into option 125 and also enter the ICP address there as well
