5212 SIP Mode

Hi Guys,

This customer is interested in having a 5212 in SIP Mode and register it on the 3300, MCD6.0SP2.

I have created a SIP extension on the 3300 as normally do when programming softphones etc.

On the 5212 I have switched to SIP Mode and after it reboots it shows:

UNZIP MAIN LOAD
Booting SIP........./

Staring Main
Booting SIP........./


Then the display clears and the phone does nothing.

I have tried to access the phone from a web browser with no luck.

Any suggestions to make this to work?

Guys, tech support suggested to manually upgrade sip firmware. I had to do 3 upgrades to get to the latest version, now 5212 is working in SIP mode.
