Chaps/chapettes, I'm looking to do the following

Branch office - 515 - Internet - 525 - Main office
|
827H (ADSL)
|
Smaller branch office

I want the branch office 515(fixed ip leased line) to VPN to the 525(fixed ip leased line).. I'm pretty sure thats possible.. but I'd also like to setup a smaller branch office 827(4 users)with a bog standard ADSL line(dynamic IP<yuk); with NAT and VPN capabilities to main office and ideally.. both.

Should I give up now or give it a go.. I'm confident of the 525 to 515.. however the 827 appears to be a different matter.

Thoughts from you network gurus would be appreachiated.

HI.

I would place a pix 501 behind the 827 router to act as firewall, and as "Easy VPN" client to the main office.
Yes I know that the 827 can have firewall and VPN features but it is still designed as a router - not firewall, so there is much more space for misconfiguration and security breaches when using a router not firewall.

The pix 501 can either be installed *instead* of the router, if the ISP supports PPPoE (most of them do these days). Ask your ISP about this.
