Hello everyone-

Here is my issue:
1) One cas server
2) One mailbox server

When scanning large documents with over 40 pages to send via email. I get an error message as such: (507) Insufficient Storage. I've already increase the size of the send connector default settings to allow files to be sent/received up to 500 mb.

I've also notice in the mail server this error message: event id 1009 --The Microsoft Exchange Mail Submission service is currently unable to contact any Hub Transport servers in the local Active Directory site. The servers may be too busy to accept new connections at this time.

All the information found is too vague. Any idead what could be the issue here?

Thx all

What is the Org - Global Settings - Transport Settings - send/receive limits set to?

Also, what method are you using to submit the messages? It doesn't sound like standard SMTP: is it using EWS or WebDAV? The error you mention is more likely one you'd see in OWA when uploading something large.

You might check MaxRequestLength as detailed here if that's the case:

You cannot have a working Exchange 2010 environment without a Hub Transport server. If you have only one mailbox server, add this role to it. EVERY message has to go through a HT server, even if the sending and receiving mailboxes are on the same server. You also cannot send mail outside of your organization without one.

When all else fails, read the book!

Sorry, my mistake. I see you did mention changing the send connector setting. Did you also change the default receive connector setting?

When all else fails, read the book!
