501 to 501 PSK vpn not connecting

I have used the PDM vpm wizard to create 2 endpoints on PIX 501 s. After configuring both firewalls, they do not connect at all. I have reentered the shared key many times. The PDM log under informational view doesn't show any type of negotiation at all. Is there something else that I need to create or initiate?
