500V1 and DS 30

We have (3) DS 30 in the 500 V1. One had a higher s/w level than the other 8.1.69 boards. We performed the upgrade on that board only, to downgrade it to 8.1.69. It did not come back up. SS says not present for that board.

Any ideas?

The DS 30 is cycling thru all the small green lights. Center light is solid green

I hate to ask the most simple question ever but I am going to anyways... you are using the 1 meter long shielded blue cable provided with the expansion module correct?

If it is a brand new DS 30 it uses a different firmware file. I ran into that on a failed module. I had to use it was either a 9.0 or 9.1 firmware that did get the module up, and it worked, but system status wouldn't show that it was there.

IP500V1 has no files on board so you need to run a manual upgrade for that DS30 module

Thank you All. I put a spare board in so that I could get them back online. I will take it to the office and work on it there.
