Another question on this option 11 with rls 23. This business was converted from a rpe from another site to this stand alone option 11. There were presumabley 500 sets programmed to handle the point of sale credit card machines. On the rpe system they worked fine but now that they are on the option 11 they wont connect. I can hear the host answer but the set drops the connection as soon as the host answers. I tried setting the fax option to on but it didnt help. Could it be that the levels were adjusted to compensate for the rpe in some manner on the credit card terminal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Kenny

I would not have thought there would be any physical difference between an RPE FALC & an Opt11 FALC. Do you have a PRT of a TN from both to see if there is any difference in the setup.

Check your timer settings in the RDB for the outbound lines. Lower your EOD timer to expire before the modems connect.
