Hello all, i have a few recovery programs running which will probably take a few days to complete running deep scans. Im wondering if there is a certian proram any of you would recommend that excels in recovering audio files? there were several thousand folders and almost 100,000 songs that are now gone. Im convinced some of the data is recoverable, but i will not settle for anything less than 90%. The file format is NTFS and im using vista. There are some image files also contained. any and all help will be much appreciated. thanks.

if you overwriten your data, you can try to perform some RAW recovery tools, but I will guaranty that you will not see anything close to 90% of your files hope for like 5% at best. best way to destroy data is to overwrite it. Good luck

Hi,

I believe, overwritten data can't be recovered...
So, i do agree with DataInSight - hopeless...

Wohever, you could take your HD to the nearest HD recovery center and see what they would say (you'll feel like you've done your best to recover disk).

Overwritten data are hardly to recover....
If the data is very important to you, I suggest you'd better take the disk to a local data recovery company. Somrtimes they have the equipment which can recover the data enven had been overwritten.
