BCM 50 1.0 can not call BCM 4.0 or 2.0 H.323 VOIP trunks after upgrade.Also have a 50 2.0 with SIP to the 4.0 that works and the 2.0 and 4.0 can call the 1.0. Nortel level one (India) can't figure it out. Nothing changed except the 400 going from a 3.7 to a 4.0 and adding SIP to the H.323 trunks.Plus the voice quality has degraded. Any ideas.

I dont understand what the setup is and what the problem is - can you explain further?
H323 and SIP are 2 different types of VOIP signaling on trunks (cannot add one to the other)
And how is voice quality bad when you cannot call?

I'm assuming all 3 systems are interconnected like this

Site A Site B Site C
BCM50_1.0 BCM50_2.0 BCM4004.0

A<->B uses H.323, A<->C uses H.323, B<->C uses SIP
A cannot call B,C - is that the problem?

And what is the reason for upgrading to 4.0

You can use both, h.323 to the 1.0 and sip to the 2.0.And you can call the 1.0 but it can not call out that is where the voice quality is not as good as before the upgrade. It was upgraded to add more greeting tables and the Sip trunks.

Also Nortel says all the programing in all 3 is correct.
