5.5 GWIA abend with foreign char. in email

Hi !
I'm using GW 5.5 and sometimes my GWIA abends.
This occurs when the server receives e-mail with
swedish characters in the address (å,ä,ö).

If I look in the \wpgate\GWIA\RECEIVE directory I
find the offending message.

Is there any way I can configure GW avoid this in the future ?
