5.0 Pro - Email question

I have a program using data files (paradox tables). One of the fields I have is a persons email address.

I would like to send an email by pulling the address from the file.

I've never used this functionality before and was hoping to get some "simple" steps on how to achieve this. Also, is there a way to create an email and send it via Outlook or Outlook Express?

For an example of how to send email using the registered email client, please see

which outlines one way to do it.

As far as pulling the address out of the file, use the same techniques you use to pull any value from a Paradox table, e.g. a TBDEDataset or a TClientDataset.
