5.0.11 keeps crashing

A user that is using Notes has it crash on him up to 6 times a day. He says he isn't doing the same thing every time it crashes. I've uninstalled and re-installed notes a couple of times now and it seems to be ok for a week and then it starts happening again. Any ideas where I can start to look?

Hi,

Can be a hundred things I am afraid! Difficult to say where to start.

I would proceed as follows:

1/
Remove all software from the machine that the user does not need and look at all the programs that are running in the background when the crash happens.
This can be a conflict with another program.

2/
Try upgrading to R5.12 or R6

3/
Check the HD for corrupted files. You might have a hardware problem.

4/
If nothing works: reformat HD, install OS en all programs again!
