4gl runtime error

Hi. I am running Informix 7.2 SE on SCO openserver 5.0.4.
I am trying to run a script with a 4ge program in it.
I have set Informixserver and other relevant environment
variables in both .profile and /etc/profile. The script
runs great from the command line in any directory, but
when I try to run the script as a cron job, it never runs
and I get a root mail saying there was a 4gl runtime error
#25560 INFORMISERVER varaible not set. Other cron jobs not
relating to 4gl programs execute without errors. Has anyone
had this problem?

Stovie:

When something runs from cron, you can't guarantee that your environment is set correctly. I'd create a script containing the environment setup, and then your 4ge.
