I've got lots of boards with 128k cache. I need to know how to put the cache together to make 256k cache. The jumper setings are on the board. I need to know how to identify the chips. There are 9 slots which ones go where? If you don't have the answer do you know a site that I might be able to find it?
thanks, David E= dadams1@gulftel.com

I Will try my best here from my memory as i haven't done this in a few years.
1 x 8k x 8k Tag(sometimes have number 64 on them)(Tag Chip)
4 x 32k x 8k chips =128k Cache

1 x 32k x 8k Tag Chip (sometimes have number 256)
8 x 32k x 8k chips =256k Cache

You may see chips for example 32 x 8 -15 or -20 this means the speed in ns
IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!
Make sure the speeds of the chips are all the same
