48/192 Virtual ext

I have recently started working on a 192 system with electramail cti. I have created a mailbox, and guests need to press a button to record a message to this mailbox and it needs to be checked from any phone. Do I need a virtual extension to fwd to vmail?

If calls come in via auto attendent, no virtual is needed. Just make the mailbox transfer set to no. If calls are answered by a live body, then you can set up a virtual to transfer to that is all call forwarded to the voice mail.
