4620sw IP Phone

I have an IP 403 system that primarily uses Digital Station phones. I need to set up a 4620sw IP phone for use on the system. The phone comes up and gets an IP address and I am able to program it with a name and extension. But, when I go off hook I immediatly get a message "Unobtainable". There is probably more programming that needs to be done, but I can't find any programming documentation for the phone. Thanks.

1st question do you have a VCM fitted in your IP403

2nd is the 4620 getting all the required ip information
callserver Ip address etc.

I don't have a VCM fitted in the IP403.

The phone is getting all the ip information including callserver IP.

It can get all the informatoin it wants, however without the VCM, (Voice Compression Module) it will be unable to register to the IP Office and/or make/receive calls.
