4620 IP Phone (Help)

We recently installed a Multi-Vantage avaya phone system, with several 4620 ip phones. The phones work okay, but I am having a problem dialing other ip phone extensions (intraswitch call). I dial another extension assigned to a 4620 IP phone, the phone rings and the person answers the call but we can not hear each other?

I can dial other internal non-ip extension and it works okay.

I think you should take this to the Avaya Definity forum...
(but for the time being
Look for the following fields in the station forms:
Multimedia mode: enhanced
Direct ip-to-ip connections: y
Hairpinning: y
And of course, check the codecs used between the two sites. (The call were being made between two Definitys via a private trunk you said?)
