4620 Clarification

Need some help on this.
What is the POE Class of the 4620?
Also it seems there are 2 different versions of the 4620SW.
One version has the RJ 45 jacks on the back and the other has them on the top of the set. Number of mike holes on side are also different.
Is there a differnece on POE Class on these 2 units?

They are class 3 devices. The 4620IP was 4W the 4620SW is 5.9W idle power.

Are you saying that all 3 types are Class 3?

Wasn't aware of 3 types just the two and both were class 3.

There are 2 different types of 4620SW and that is where our customer is having an issue on their POE switch.
They look physically different (RJ45 locations and amount of mic holes). Read somewhere that one model was Class 2 and the other Class 3 but I can't verify.

I do not think I have ever seen the 2nd version of the 4620SW you are referring to& would be interested to see it

I have seen a 4620 with the connectors on the bottom like a 5420.
The later version have it on the top of the phone like the 5610.

Nope, but i think it should not be much different.
What type of switch do you have?
PErhaps the switch can show you how much it uses?
