4610 PBX port (ex S05020) - Does it stay the same?

In the old world of TDM I assigned ports like 02b1222 to stations, but with the IP phones they get an SXXXXX port assigned when the phone registers.

My question is if I unplug one of these phones, ship it across the country, throw it in a closet, etc... then plug it back into my network, will it regiseter using the same SXXXXX port number?

It might depend on how you are handling out the IP addresses ?
Are you using a DHCP server or static IP ?
When I load my softphone I get a different S000# each time.
