I have connected a 4610 IP phone at a remote office location that does not have a media gateway. This office is connected to our network via a VPN connection. Main location is S8300/G450 and calls made from IP phones at main to the remote location connect normally and both parties can be heard. Calls made from digital phones at main (using DSP resources in G450)to the remote 4610 experience one way talk path (Main can hear remote, remote cannot hear main).
I can ping and perform trace route from 8300 & G450 to the remote phone (10.20.0.201). One thing that is odd to me is that when I list registered ip stations in CM, the ip address of the remote 4610 is showing as the router (10.1.0.33) at the main location. I think this is the problem but have no idea why the remote 4610 is not registering with its own IP address. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
